You're Gonna Miss This Moment
It's time again to join Pam and reflect upon the moments you will miss the most since time seems to be moving at warp speed these days.
I'm certainly going to miss the days of Roo and Rissa playing dress up and Roo 'protecting his sister' from imaginary 'bad guys.' They apparently get in our house from time to time and he has to turn in to a pirate and scare them away with his 'shooter', water gun minus the water, and a plastic clothes hanger. Oh, and I know I will miss the moments of them actually hugging each other, those are rare even now.
I will also miss getting all the kisses I want from my little pirate girl, I know that will not last much longer.
Head over to Pam's site for more Moments you don't want to miss.

Fun Fridays with Josh and Jake
Marla and the boys came over last Friday, little late in posting I know. The kids had a blast as usual and I loved spending time with Marla. It was so nice just to sit and talk to a friend since I have not been able to get out of the house in quite a while.
Marla brought Marissa a bag or two or three of Winnie the Pooh things for her room and she loves them. I think she scored, one big tigger, a big Eeyore, a small Eeyore, a couple of small pooh bears and a ton of other things. Thanks Marla she loves them. And Roo got a Star Wars board game and a star wars t-shirt for his birthday.
Marla also gave me a beautiful scrap photo book she made of our Christmas cookie making extravagaza with the kids last christmas. She is so talented and I'm so lucky to have her as my friend and partner in figuring out how to raise rambuctious 5 year old boys.
I'm hoping they can come again soon, it certainly is the best kind of medicine for me right now.
