Click here for a flashback video of Marissa's climbing skills a year ago.
She is just growing up way to fast and it's fun to look at her just a year ago and see how much she has grown, in size and attitude. :)

Western KY State Fair
This was one of the only things that we do yearly with the kids that I was able to do this year. They had a blast. And there favorite ride was the worm, which I do not have pictures of but they rode it like 5 times. Also, Jose is not in any of the pictures. oops. Rissa also loved the animals.

You're Gonna Miss This....Moment (Play Dates)
It's time again to join Pam and reflect upon the moments you will miss the most since time seems to be moving at warp speed these days.
Roo was almost two years old and we were in the mall shopping. We stopped to sit and let Ruben run around and I saw these two adorable curly haired twin boys. The three boys instantly started playing and Jose and I started talking to their parents. Their mom was a red head so we bonded instantly. :) When we started to leave she wrote down her number so we could set up a play date for the boys. Josh and Jake are one month older that Ruben.
Since that meeting at the mall we have had many play dates. Marla brought the boys to the hospital when Marissa was born and I think they will forever refer to her as 'baby Rissa.'
My kids only have one cousin, he lives far away and they have never met him. They have grown up with Josh and Jake and Marla and I have grown closer over the years.
This year, Josh, Jake and Ruben will be going to kindergarten, unfortunately not the same one as we live in different counties, but we will no longer get to have play dates anytime we want during the week and I will certainly miss that.
Here are some moments captured through the years.

Making CupCakes on the 4th
We made the cupcakes while Rissa was sleeping, of course that was not done intentionally, what kind of mom would leave her daughter out of a family activity like making cupcakes? This is her with Nana after her nap, looking all sweet and innocent.
