Tomorrow is Mother's Day and Monday is my birthday. I've been looking back through the years at my Mother's day/Birthday posts. It amazes me how much changes in a year. Last year I was struggling with my illness and could not even get out of bed to enjoy my cake, so they brought it to me in bed.
God has worked miracles in my life and heart this past year.
Mom and DD are still living with us and it seems to be working out for everyone.
I think it's a great thing that the children have so many adults in one house that love them and give them all the attention they need.
There are times I wish it were the four of us again but those thoughts don't last very long. I really do enjoy them being here, just wish we had a tad more space.
I'm so thankful for my family, for my mother, for all of the mothers I have met that have inspired me, given me tips to survive the hard days and just been there to listen.
I pray for all those who have lost their mothers on this Mother's Day Weekend and those who may be estranged from their mothers. I pray for peace and strength for them.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Can He Really Be 6?
My baby boy is 6, not sure where those 6 years have gone. I'm so grateful I was able to be home and throw him a birthday party this year (last year I was in the hospital and missed it).
He had a Star Wars party of course, three years in a row and I'm betting next year will be the same. We made light sabers out of pool noodles again (post pictures of those later). It rained so what was supposed to be an outside party quickly became an inside one. They had a blast having a picnic on the floor while watching the movie Star Wars The Clone Wars and had a light saber fight in my living room while I ran around removing all the breakables. :)
I will try and post more pictures of the actually party as soon as my photographer (MARLA) sends them to me :)
Happy 6th Birthday Roo Bear you have changed my world forever and I love you with all my heart.
